We return to discuss Only Yesterday, a Ghibli movie written and directed by Isao Takahata and was released in 1991. Listen to what Nikki and Ian got from the movie, which is surprisingly two very different view points.
This episode we discuss the gentle coming of age movie Kiki’s Delivery Service. Released in Japan in 1989 this was Ghibli’s 5th movie release. Hear us discuss the story, a few facts and give our opinions on the movie.
We apologise for the poor sound as we had the microphone settings wrong. It will sound much better next episode.
Totoro is the figure head of Studio Ghibli and is a fun cute movie in its own right. We discuss the story and our thoughts as well as some cool facts as well.
